 ThIS story (April 3, PM edition) is one of the most interesting pieces of news. Kudos to MiD DAY for making the humane facade of our police commissioner public.
The high and mighty should take note of this noble gesture. Such a man would not clamour for money and therefore cannot be lured by it and probably would not tolerate those easily lured by it.
Besides, he will come down heavily on those known to be habitually corrupt.
We hope that Gafoor cracks the whip to inculcate semblance of morality in the police force.
