Mumbai: The Vice President of Nepal, Paramanand Jha, took his oath in Hindi, which caused a furore recently. Aren't we all so territorial and parochial?

What difference does it make if he took the oath in Hindi? Will his language judge his loyalty to the country? We should not force an individual to conform to our way of thinking. I don't think this is civilised behavior.
