Jammu, Kashmir burning
By: S P Sharma

Mumbai: It is indeed shocking to see Jammu burning for so many days, and the government has not been able to pacify the locals, who are protesting against the Amarnath land row.  Secularism, if rightly interpreted, means that religion, caste and creed are not taken into consideration There is one law for the entire nation.

Political games

Politicians are playing on religious and ethnic lines to garner votes and thus remain in power whatever may be the quantum and magnitude of loss to the nation. There is big discrimination against Hindus, who are a minority in Jammu and Kashmir. Why was the allotted Amarnath Shrine land withdrawn?

After so many days, the PM has finally called a meeting, but members of Amarnath Shrine Board have not been invited. He should show some efficiency.
