Comedy shows need some serious changes

Pun-intended: There should be a censor board that keeps a check on the vulgar jokes cracked on comedy shows.

Recently, there seems to be a competition to show cheap humour on the small screen. Yet, there is no censorship for the small screen, as yet.

It looks like they have no other subject or topic except making fun of women by wearing female dresses cheaply.

For example, the show Comedy Circus cracks cheap jokes on women and the judges enjoy it. It is really shameful that not a single judge opposes such vulgarity in the name of stand-up comedy.

It is sad to note that the standard of comedy has gone so low that there is no room for any intellectual humour.

My appeal is to make such shows clean without making or portraying women cheaply.  It is very embarrassing to see these comedy shows with the family members.

I hope some stern steps are taken to stop such vulgarity on television.

One can imagine the state of mind of today's children, after seeing all these rubbish programmes.
