Why should we suffer alone?

Mumbai:

The Maharashtra government has turned a deaf ear to our woes. We are forced to stay without power for more than eight hours a day. In other parts of the city too, like Thane, Vashi, Mulund, Bhiwandi and Dombivli, load shedding occurs for three to five hours, while the rest of Mumbai enjoys 24 hours of uninterrupted power supply.

Inspite of paying tax, this is the situation in our area. When CM  Vilasrao Deshmukh's son got married, a lot of electricity was consumed for the lavish wedding. This is unfair.

After a recent agitation at Nalla Sopara and Virar stations, an MSEB officer said, "Due to poor rains, more load shedding is expected, and consumers should cooperate instead of agitating." Why can't the entire state of Maharashtra cooperate? Why are commercial establishments like malls, multiplexes and amusement parks not facing any load shedding?
Load shedding should be in the entire state for two hours daily - an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening. This way we can save electricity.

Power cut has become a regular issue in the Vasai-Virar belt. We, the residents of these areas, always have to face problems to get basic facilities. Sometimes it's about inadequate water supply and electricity or  frequency of trains, and additionally inflation at an all-time high.

Meanwhile, ministers, who live in posh areas, enjoy 24 hours of electricity. The government should ensure that power cuts should be equally distributed. Why should residents of one area suffer?
