Protestors should learn from Japan

When workers in Japan want to protest against any issue, they never stop working. In fact, they work harder and longer, wearing black armbands. They do not take to violence and throw stones. They maintain silence until their demands are met.

Conversions by Christian missionaries may be a fact. But for any group to take law into their own hands, indulge in violence by injuring people and damaging places of worship should be highly condemned.

The situation in Orissa and Karnataka is hotting up day by day. Churches are being destroyed, people are being killed and the peace in the state has been disrupted.

Peaceful

Protesters can hold peaceful morchas, confront church leaders, debate and ask them to stop their conversion activities. They can bring all the facts to the print and electronic media and express their views.

But, in our country,  political leaders don't exercise their influence and control the misled groups.

Preventing violence, damage to life and property at all cost should be a priority of responsible political leaders.
