With reference to the story  Pay less if you're a Marathi manoos reported in MiD DAY on Wednesday, I find the act extremely disgusting.

Dr Suhas Awchat's 50 per cent discount for Maharashtrians at his restaurant adds to the communal tension in the city. He has not only  insulted Mumbai, but also the Constitution of India.

If an educated person like him resorts to such gimmicks, then what about the common man? Such an attitude will only end up increasing communal tensions.

I would like to appeal to such people not to divide the country or city on such grounds.
