Aamir will bring home the Oscar

India:

Setting a standard: Aamir Khan plays an art teacher in Taare Zameen Par. This is Aamir's third film to be chosen to represent India at the Oscars

Taare Zameen Par's nomination as India's entry for the Oscars is a prestige in itself. But this year, I am sure Aamir Khan will receive the Oscar for the movie.

TZP will leave the Oscar committee in awe as they would not have believed  Indian cinema can create such wonders. It is a feather in the hat of Indian cinema and this movie will surely make the western world to raise their heads in respect.

Aamir has done a great job, not only as the actor, but also as the director. If this time we fail to bring home an Oscar, it's only because the judges don't recognise true talent.

King of Bollywood

Many critics have expressed disappointment after TZP was sent to the Oscars. But this is the best movie that we could have sent for the international award.

News has been doing the rounds that Aamir has taken potshots at Shah Rukh Khan about being the King of Bollywood.

Aamir, no doubt, is the better king because of the vast genre of subjects he touches in his movies. I have full faith in him and he will surely win an Oscar this time.

Will we win an Oscar for Taare Zameen Par? This question does not matter, as it is a great news in itself to be nominated as India's entry to the Oscars. This is Aamir Khan's third movie that has been sent for the Oscars. Way to go, Aamir.
