Women's empowerment is something that is always on my mind -- whether it be in the glamour world, the police force or even something as simple as labour, women don't get their due as men are always one up over them. Women tolerate mental and physical torture from their husbands due to the fact that, in India, women don't marry to divorce or simply for their children or their families.
I feel that every woman has it in her to stand up for her rights. If she does not allow the male to torment her, he cannot. Women should not let people mistake their tolerance and patience to be their weakness. I wish every woman stands up for her rights in India. That way, we will have a better tomorrow.
