Letting go

One thing that has been on my mind lately is the concept of letting go. Happiness is nothing but a state of mind. You could be a beggar on the street and be the happiest person or a multi-billionaire and live a lonely existence. Let go of insecurities, inhibitions, negativity. My Ashtanga Yoga practice has taught me that the moment you let go of emotions within yourself (such as anger, hatred, jealousy), you will feel a lot lighter, and attract positive energy from the universe and feel happy. My yoga instructor always tell me, "Don't think, don't say 'I can't do it', just breath deeply and let go and your body will be able to do the posture." And it doesn't apply to Ashtanga yoga only, but in real life as well. It may seem impossible at the time but if you mentally visualise it happening, it will!
