This big budget film starring Aamir Khan was both a critical and commercial failure. Too much effort was put into this Ketan Mehta film. Right from Aamir Khan's mustache to Ameesha Patel's steamy scenes everything about this movie was in the news but alas the audiences couldn't bear this one.

SRK'S best performance till date is based on the real life of Aravinda Pillalamarri and Ravi Kuchimanchi, the NRI couple who returned to India and developed the pedal power generator to light remote, off-the-grid village schools. SRKs Mohan Bhargav returns to his village leaving behind his prestigious NASA job in order to enlighten a remote village in India. Ashutosh Govarikar made a master piece in this one as the film was very real. Unlike other biopics it isn't very grand and it shows rural India at its best.
