Few actors and directors were present at the funeral of Mukesh Rawal. Homi Wadia, 'Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma' former director Dharmesh Mehta, Praveen Solanki, Rajender Butala, Sujata Mehta, Latesh Shah, Sanat Vyas, Pratap Sachdev, Arvind Vekarya, Vandana Pathak, Swati Sandesha, Sameer Shah and Vinod Sarvaya, among others, attended the funeral of actor Mukesh Rawal on November 16 in Kandivali, Mumbai

Sanjay Chhel, writer-director, said, "Mukesh Rawal produced and acted in my first Gujarati play, Prakarn, 1956. I started my career with him. Later, we collaborated on several Gujarati television serials. He had an amazing memory. If any actor did not turn up for the show, he could go through the script and be a replacement within an hour. It's sad how he passed away."
TV actor Naman Shaw said, "I was Mukul sir's co-star in 'Beend Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga'. Although I was on the show for a brief period, I remember chatting with him about shooting for 'Ramayan'. He shared his experiences and how working in the industry was different when he was a young actor. I found him a down to earth man."
