Shabana Azmi paid tribute to the late AK Hangal's work ethics.
The meeting, organised by the Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) at Prithvi Theatre, was termed a "celebration of Hangal's life and journey" rather than a condolence meet.
Those present from Bollywood for the meet included Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Kabir Bedi, Ila Arun, Anupam Kher, Raj Zutshi, Pawan Malhotra, Rakesh Bedi, Deepti Naval and few others.
The meeting saw artists perform skits and scenes from AK Hangal's memorable plays.
Actor Kabir Bedi said he felt sad that he could not meet Hangal before his demise.
