New Image (no caption) - 27 December 2010

Samsung NX 100: A mirrorless interchangeable lens camera with a 20-50mm F3.5-5.6 ‘compact zoom lens’, it utilises a 14.6 megapixel sensor, and an OLED screen. It’s compact, but you will miss the in-built flash and the lack of an optical viewfinder. The i-Function lens functionality -- an ‘i-Fn’ button on the top-left that lets you to spin a ring on the lens to change settings easily-definitely the coolest feature on the camera.

New Image (no caption) - 27 December 2010

BlackBerry Playbook: It runs Adobe Flash, so that shouldn’t give you grief like Apple does when it encounters Adobe apps. The PlayBook is rumoured to has a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a Cortex A9-based, dual-core 1GHz CPU. Research in Motion (RIM), of course, says this is faster than the iPad’s processor. 1GB RAM, two cameras (a 3MP front facing one and a 5MP rear facing one), 1080p HD video and a HDMI port. It also comes in 16GB/32GB/64GB versions.

New Image (no caption) - 27 December 2010

Razer peripherals: If TRON blew your mind, Razer’s TRON Peripherals, set to launch in 2011, will have you jumping for joy. The ambidextrous Tron Gaming Mouse features light alerts based on in-game actions.

New Image (no caption) - 27 December 2010

Notion Ink Adam: This much anticipated 10-inch tablet from Bengaluru-based Notion Ink, has been hotly discussed mainly for its dual-benefit Pixel Qi screen, which allows you to turn the backlight off on the LCD screen, rendering a clear display like the Amazon Kindle’s E Ink version. Best part? It’s perfect for reading even in bright sunlight, and indoors, you can watch videos on the regular backlit LCD screen.

New Image (no caption) - 27 December 2010

Cisco Cius: This one’s a mobile collaboration tablet built especially for business. An ultra-portable, mobile collaboration business tablet with HD video (720p), a virtual desktop client for secure access to cloud-based business applications, an Android operating system, a 7" screen and a detachable 8-hour battery make this one a hotly anticipated enterprise solution in 2011.

New Image (no caption) - 27 December 2010

LG Optimus 7: This phone houses a 1 GHz snapdragon processor, and a Microsoft Windows phone 7 operating system. A 3.5 inch TFT display screen, capacitive touch screen functionality, a 480 x 800 pixel resolution and a very QWERTY keyboard make it quite a force to reckon with. Connectivity options include Wi Fi, GPRS and EDGE, while the 5.0 megapixel camera, comes with a cool geo-tagging facility and an LED flash. It doesn’t end there -- there’s also a digital compass and organiser. We like.

New Image (no caption) - 27 December 2010

Panasonic GF2: It’s rumoured to be one of the smallest and lightest interchangeable lens cameras, but what’s exciting is that that it will support Panasonic’s new 3D lens, giving 3D photo capabilities to this camera with a touchscreen-centric user interface.
