Google China dispute - 30 January 2012

Google stopped censoring Internet search results in China in a move that was hailed by rights groups but drew an angry reaction from the Chinese authorities.
The International search engine giant had threatened that it would quit China over alleged hacking by Chinese govt and also made it clear that it is not willing to bow to Chinese censors.
China denied the allegations and said that hacking charges levelled against the state were without foundation.
