On the eve of Congress President Sonia Gandhi's visit to the state, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi asked her to do her homework and come prepared with answers to issues of price rise, unemployment and women's reservation bill.
"I have heard that Sonia is coming here. I want her to come prepared and do her homework. We have already given the questions that she would be asked here, in advance," said Modi, addressing election rallies in different parts of the state.
Sonia Gandhi will address three poll rallies in the state. "We have to give her (Sonia) the questions in advance because she has to read them from her speech which is in written form," he said, adding "Come with answers to why the prices of essential commodities have gone up, why have so many people lost jobs during your regime, and what have you done about the women's reservation bill."
He also asked her to stay back in Gujarat for a week and visit various places in the state in a car. "You can go anywhere in the state in any car you want. See how good our roads are. Even the water in your stomach won't move," Modi said. "Then compare the roads with your constituency Rai Bareli or Amethi. I am sure people there won't know what good roads are," he added. |
