New Delhi: BJP has declared candidates for two seats in Uttar Pradesh including Allahabad where it has fielded a local leader this time.
"Party has declared Yogesh Shukla from Allahabad and Seema Dwivedi from Jaunpur as its candidate," party's headquarter in-charge Shyam Jaju said.
Senior leader Murli Manohar Joshi, who had contested from the Allahabad constituency last time, will contest from Varanasi seat in the elections next month.
Shukla, a former Swadeshi Jagaran Manch leader is also a prominent youth face of the party in the state. The decision was taken in the Central Election Committee meet held on Monday, Jaju added.
