Women's badness is sexual, says author in new book

Naomi Wolf, the author of 'Vagina" A New Biography', has claimed that the "badness" women are attracted to isn't literal badness but the sexual appeal of "otherness, wilderness and the dimensions of the unknown" in her new book

According to Wolf, it is also about the role of the autonomic nervous system.

Wolf says women are aroused by this "good stress" “When they are in control of the fantasy or act.

“Some people have a lower baseline autonomic nervous system and in lovemaking, something that heightens it like spanking or hair-pulling or some scenario that is threatening - as long as you are in control - that heightens some women’s autonomic nervous system, and in turn heightens their arousal and their orgasm,” CBS News quoted Wolf as saying.

“When you understand that, it’s much less alarming,” she said.

The 49-year-old is the author of eight books, but her most famous is ‘The Beauty Myth’, which was published in 1991 when she was 27.
