Delhi BJP leaders and workers staged a protest near the AAP headquarters on April 10. BJP is demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the alleged excise policy scam. Recently, Kejriwal's plea against his arrest and remand in the excise policy of his government was rejected by the Delhi High Court on April 09. Meanwhile, CM Kejriwal has approached the Supreme Court challenging the high court order. Dramatic images surfaced from the Aam Aadmi Party's headquarters in New Delhi. Sanjay Singh was released from Delhi’s Tihar Jail on bail on April 3. The ED on April 2, informed the SC that the agency has no objection to Sanjay Singh getting bail. A bench led by Justice Sanjiv Khanna directed the release of Sanjay Singh . Bail was granted during pendency of trial in a money laundering case relating to excise policy irregularities. AAP workers played drums and celebrated the release of Sanjay Singh. While addressing a press conference after his release from jail he attacked BJP and said when BJP speaks about corruption it seems like Osama Bin Laden is speaking about non-violence. Aam Admi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal has become the first sitting Chief Minister to be lodged in Tihar Jail. The Rouse Avenue Court sent AAP supremo to judicial custody till April 15 in the Delhi excise policy case. As per ED, Kejriwal was shown evidence of more than 10 meetings of Vijay Nair with other co-accused persons involved in liquor business. During hearing, ED told Court that Kejriwal had admitted Vijay Nair of reporting only to party leaders Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) held a press conference on March 25, during the PC AAP leader and Delhi Minister Atishi attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest in connection with the alleged liquor policy scam. She said PM Modi is scared of Arvind Kejriwal as he is the only one who can challenge him so he wants to eliminate him. "BJP's political weapon ED arrested Kejriwal in a fake case. In a case which even after two years of investigation not even single Rupee proceeds of crime was recovered from any of the AAP leaders. Arvind Kejriwal was arrested after the ECI announced the dates of Lok Sabha elections in a case whose investigation has been on for two years ," said Atishi Marelna while addressing a press conference at party headquarters in Delhi.

A Directorate Enforcement (ED) raid is underway at the residence of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh in connection with excise policy case. The ED raid has been condemned by various parties of opposition INDIA group alliance, while the BJP leaders are attacking AAP and Arwind Kejriwal for being corrupt. Reacting to the raid, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said, "Nothing will be found at his residence and this is the govt's strategy before 2024 general elections. RJD MP Manoj Jha also resonated Kejriwal's words. Meanwhile, BJP workers are carrying protests outside AAP office demanding Kejriwal's resignation. BJP Leader Gaurav Bhatia and Manoj Tiwari said Kejriwal is the kingpin of the liquor scam.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met Shiv Sena (UBT) head Uddhav Thackeray at the latter's residence in Mumbai on Wednesday. The leaders decided to seek support for the AAP's fight against the Centre's ordinance on control of services in Delhi. He was accompanied by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Rajya Sabha members Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chadha, as well as Delhi minister Atishi. Mr Kejriwal, the AAP's national convener, will also meet Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar to seek his support against the Centre's ordinance.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha on Tuesday denied the news reports that claimed he has been named as an accused in the supplementary chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Delhi liquor policy case. Reacting to news reports, Chadha clarified that he has not been named as an accused in the case. This comes days after the (CBI) named Manish Sisodia as an accused for the first time in its supplementary chargesheet filed before a CBI court in Delhi. Terming the news reports “propaganda”, Chadha said, “News articles/reportage stating that I have been named as an accused in a complaint filed by the Enforcement Directorate are factually wrong, incorrect and appears to be part of a malicious propaganda to harm my reputation and credibility.”
