Asha Parekh to be conferred with Dada Saheb Phalke award, Have you heard?

Veteran actor Asha Parekh will be honoured with the ‘Dada Saheb Phalke Award’ for 2020, the highest recognition in the field of Indian cinema, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur said on Tuesday. After considerable mulling over which film to front next, Aamir Khan has finally decided to proceed with the remake of the 2018 Spanish hit, Campeones. Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal choose a now-modified 176-y-o mill for Mumbai reception. Katrina Kaif dances with students at her mother's school in Madurai.

Mumbai adds to its collection of show-stopping Bollywood murals

The city of Mumbai is known for its love for Bollywood movies. This love for cinema has translated into many murals in and around the city. The most notable works are by city-based artist Ranjit Dahiya through his Bollywood Art Project, which celebrates the likes of Madhubala, the characters in the film Anarkali, Sridevi, and more. Notwithstanding the pandemic, a few new works -- featuring Helen, Waheeda Rehman, and Asha Parekh -- were added to the collection in May 2021.
