However, the Ministry of External Affairs has vehemently rejected the claims made by The Guardian in its report. Anupamaa actor, Rituraj Singh passed away on February 20, 2024 at the age of 59 due to cardiac arrest. His last rites took place in Mumbai on February 21. Several friends, colleagues and well-wishers from the TV and film industry were spotted at his residence as they came pay their last tribute. Nakuul Mehta, Hiten Tejwani with wife Gauri Pradhan, Arshad Warsi and many other celebrities were spotted. Rituraj Singh is known for shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Kutumb, Abhay 3 and Never Kiss Your Best Friend. He was also seen in Rupali Ganguly’s superhit show, Anupamaa. The Committee on External Affairs highlighted that Pakistan’s ISI is providing a haven to terrorist outfits.
