In a major breakthrough in the Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi Murder Case, the Crime Branch of the Delhi Police, detained three persons. Delhi Police carried out the operation jointly with Rajasthan Police and nabbed the accused on December 10 from Chandigarh. As per the police, the main accused, Rohit Rathore and Nitin Fauji, are also among those arrested. On Dec 5, Gogamedi was murdered by two shooters, Nitin Fauji and Rohit Rathod, in the living room of his residence. One of the assailants, Naveen Shekhawat, was killed at Gogamedi's residence during the exchange of fire. Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was the National President of the Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. Karni Sena activists held protests after the gruesome killing of Gogamedi.

In a major break-through in the high-profile murder of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, Rajasthan Police on December 06 has identified two shooters who were involved in the killing. The two assailants have been identified as Rohit Rathore Makrana and Nitin Fauji, who hails from Mahendragarh, Haryana. Meanwhile, the situation in Rajasthan continued to remain tense as the cities witnessed massive protests. After the Karni Sena called for Rajasthan, massive protests were seen in various cities including capital Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. Soon after the news broke out, Rohit Godara, close aide of Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi took responsibility for the gruesome murder. Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, was shot dead by three assailants in Jaipur on Dec 05. The murder sparked outrage among the Rajput community, which called for a state-wide bandh today.

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the National President of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena was shot dead by unidentified bike-borne criminals in Jaipur on December 05. He was declared dead by doctors at the hospital where he was rushed to. Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph informed the media about the incident. After the information spread like wildfire, Karni Sena members held a protest at the district collectors’ office in Rajasthan’s Udaipur on December 05. Karni Sena President Surajpal Ammu and National President Mahipal Singh Makrana expressed their grief and anger about the matter. Investigation into the case of the Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi murder is underway.

The Indian men's hockey team dethroned 2018 gold medallist Japan in the men's hockey event on Friday and qualified for the Paris Olympics 2024 by claiming their fourth gold medal in the Asian Games. The Indian team continued to do wonders since the arrival of head coach Craig Fulton as they remained unbeaten throughout the event and defeated Japan by 5-1 in the 19th Asian Games. Both teams kicked off the final on equal preceedings as Japan and India looked to breach each other's defence and break the stalemate. India drew the first blood in the second quarter with Manpreet scoring a goal with a reverse hit in the 25th minute of the game Former Indian Hockey player Ashok Kumar said that it is a proud moment that India won a gold medal in Hockey at the Asian Games 2023. He said, “Indian Hockey has created its dominance in Asian Games by winning a medal...It is a huge victory for Indian Hockey...It is a proud moment for all of us...I want to congratulate the team on this win.”
