    Hours of heavy rains inundated Nehru Zoological Park in Hyderabad. The meteorological department has forecast more rains in and around the city over the next 24 hours. Hyderabad has recorded 67.6 mm of rainfall so far. About 30 percent of the Nehru Zoological Park in the city has been flooded, with all internal roads being waterlogged, forcing authorities to shut down the safari area temporarily. Incessant rains have swallowed roads, submerged houses and led to traffic snarls in the city with many residents blaming the local authorities for not acting on repeated complaints. Reportedly, three people have died so far in the rain-related incidents in the city
