Para-athlete Suvarna Raj, who has represented the country in global events, on February 3 accused the IndiGo airline crew of 'mistreatment', saying she requested the carrier to provide her a personal wheelchair at the aircraft door but the staff did not respond. On the IndiGo’s mistreatment, Suvarna alleged that she was mistreated by IndiGo crew members while taking a flight from New Delhi to Chennai. Suvarna had booked seat number 39D(Aisle) on the Chennai-bound flight on Friday. A major drama unfolded on Thursday at Delhi Airport in front of an IndiGo plane that a Congress delegation was about to board to reach Raipur. As Congress leader Pawan Khera was reportedly deboarded from the plane, the entire delegation started 'BJP hai hai' slogans. After a row erupted over the opening of the emergency exit door of an IndiGo aircraft by BJP MP Tejasvi Surya, Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai who was also onboard at the time of the incident, has said that Surya "accidentally touched the emergency door" but it was not his fault that the flight got delayed.
