Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday inaugurated the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 in Lucknow. The Summit is being held from February 10-12. It is the flagship investment summit of the Uttar Pradesh government. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present on this occasion. The summit will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, academia, think tanks and leaders from across the world to explore business opportunities and forge partnerships. Industry leaders, N Chandrasekaran, Chairman, Tata & Sons, Mukesh Ambani, Aditya Birla were present at the event.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit in Indore today, through video conferencing.The Prime Minister said India has been on the path of ‘Reform, Transform and Perform’ since 2014. “Not just we the Indians but every institution and expert in the world seems to be confident about this. The IMF sees India as a bright spot in the global economy. The World Bank says that India is in a better position to deal with global headwinds than many other countries,” said the PM. Delegations from more than 65 countries are participating in the Global Investors Summit. More than 500 prominent industrialists in the country are also participating in the summit.

Presenting Uttar Pradesh as a film-friendly state, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday invited prominent members from the entertainment industry to explore his state as a film-making destination. Interacting with members of Bollywood here, the chief minister said, ''We have made two of your film fraternity members as MPs and we know the issues you face and what needs to be done. Cinema plays a crucial role in uniting the society and preserving the unity and sovereignty of the country." Adityanath, who is visiting Mumbai to promote an investor summit to be held in Lucknow next month, said Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a film-friendly state and this has been recognised at the National Film Awards and the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath landed in Mumbai on Wednesday ahead of the Global Investors Summit 2023 in UP. Adityanath will be in Mumbai for the next two days. Addressing the diaspora of UP in Mumbai, Adityanath talked about women’s safety in UP, the development of UP in several sectors, and the way UP handled the return of migrants during the Covid-19 lockdown. The visit of Adityanath marked the start of the domestic roadshows planned by the state government in several cities of the country. He also met the Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh koshiyari, and the CM and deputy CM of the state Eknath Shinde and Devendra fadnavis respectively. Adityanath also met bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. He is set to meet industrialists Mukesh Ambani, Sajjan Jindal, Jinal Mehta and Ajay Piramal and invite them to invest in UP.
