Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 06 launched a scathing attack on RJD in Bihar, saying that when "Jungle Raj" came to the state, migration increased and the future of lakhs of students of the state was put at stake. Addressing a rally here as part of BJP’s preparations for the Lok Sabha polls, PM Modi said it is essential for Bihar to be developed for "Viksit Bharat" and the NDA government in the state has given speed to development works. Referring to the Rashtriya Janata Dal government that ruled Bihar for about 14 years between 1990 and 2005, PM Modi said that "one family prospered" and youth had to go out of state to earn their livelihood. "How lands were grabbed in lieu of jobs. The challenge of outward migration increased during the Jungle Raj, those who brought jungle raj only cared about their family," he said.

PM Modi called Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and expressed concern over the recent mimicry filming incident. On December 19, a TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee was seen mimicking VP Jagdeep Dhankhar in the Parliament premises. He drew laughter from other Opposition MPs and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was filming him. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar termed the incident “shameful” and “ridiculous”. VP Dhankhar took to X and shared that PM Modi called him and expressed his concern over Jagdeep Dhankar mimicry incident. The Opposition MPs, who have been suspended, were protesting in the Parliament premises on Dec 19 when the incident happened. Demanding an apology from the INDIA bloc over the mimicry incident of Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi on December 19 said that the opposition members tried to belittle the image of Vice President adding that they are against the tribal and farming communities of the nation. While expressing concerns in Rajya Sabha over the Jagdeep Dhankar Mimicry Incident, Pralhad Joshi said, "Leader of Congress, a former Congress President who could not manage his own party affairs was trying to encourage this unfortunate act. This incident has circulated on social media and people are condemning it." Pralhad Joshi further said that Congress also deliberately insulted President Droupadi Murmu earlier. "From the beginning, Congress has deliberately been insulting our President, who comes from the tribal community and from day one their party leader in other house have insulted her. This puts a question on their mental state," he said.

Amid protests outside Parliament over the MPs suspension from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee mimicked Upper House Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar asking Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to sit on the stairs of the Parliament. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi was seen filming a video of mockery. Hours after 33 members were suspended from Lok Sabha for "misconduct" for the remainder of Parliament winter session on Monday, 45 members from the opposition including Congress' Jairam Ramesh, Randeep Surjewala and KC Venugopal were suspended from the Rajya Sabha for the remaining period of the session which concludes on December 22. While 34 members were suspended for the remaining part of the session, the "misconduct" of 11 others was also referred to the Privileges Committee, which has been asked to give its report in three months.

Kalyan Banerjee, during the protest over MPs Suspension, with other suspended MPs at Parliament's Makar Dwar, was seen mimicking the Vice President while Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was seen filming the Trinamool MP using his phone. As the House reconvened at 12 noon after being adjourned, Dhankhar took note of the incident and said, "Office of Chairman, Rajya Sabha and Office of Speaker is very different. Political parties will have their cross currents, they will have exchanges, but imagine a senior leader of your party, video graphing another member of another party. Mimicry of the Chairman, mimicry of Speaker. How ridiculous, how shameful, how unacceptable."
