The first phase of the Lok Sabha election 2024 is underway in 102 parliamentary constituencies on April 19. To exercise their right to franchise, Tamil cinema cast their votes in Tamil Nadu as polling began for all 39 seats. Tamil superstars including Rajinikanth, Ajith, Dhanush, Vijay Sethupathi, Vijay, Suriya, and Karthi registered their vote.

As Congress’ biggest public outreach ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ reached National Capital on December 24, Tussle over the ‘Yatra’ between BJP and Congress has already begun. The top leaders from both parties have been lashing out at each other over the march. As the Yatra entered Delhi, Union Minister Anurag Thakur again slammed Congress and Rahul Gandhi, saying that Congress is bothered about only one family, not the country. Hitting back to his remarks on Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress MP and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram said, “Anurag Thakur might even say Goli Maro.” “It won't be surprising if Anurag Thakur says 'Goli Maro' which he said earlier.
