Amid the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Nagaland Tourism and Higher Education Minister and BJP leader Temjen Imna Along was seen casting his vote at a polling station in Alongtaki, Mokokchung. Today on 19th April, the first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha election 2024 kicked off. In Maharashtra, the voting began in five seats of Nagpur, Ramtek (SC), Bhandara-Gondia, Chandrapur, and the Naxal-affected Gadchiroli-Chimur (ST). Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and his wife Amruta Fadnavis were seen casting their votes at a polling booth in Nagpur. After casting his vote, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said, "Festival of democracy has started. I appeal to all the people to vote and strengthen democracy and register their participation in this festival of democracy."
