Israel-Hamas Conflict: IDF resumed combat operations against Hamas after accusing latter of violating a temporary truce. Soon after Hamas fired missiles toward Israeli territory, IDF ‘restarted’ combat operations against militant group. In the hour before the truce was set to end, Hamas-affiliated media also reported sounds of explosions and gunfire in Gaza. The seven-day pause began on November 24 and was extended twice, allowing for the exchange of dozens of hostages. While updating on Uttarkashi Tunnel collapse rescue operations, Micro tunnelling expert Chris Cooper said that only 2 to 3 meters are left and the rescue team is expecting to see results by 5 pm. “We are still mining. We have got a couple of more metres to go...We are expecting to see some results by 5 pm. 2-3 metres are left..." he added. Multi-agencies rescue operations are being carried out on a war footing to rescue the 41 trapped workers. 41 workers have been trapped inside the Silkyara Tunnel in Uttarkashi since November 12 after the Uttarkashi Tunnel Collapse. Leaving no stone unturned to evacuate the workers, manual drilling began after auger drilling machine was busted. Notably, Officials have informed that the 41 workers trapped inside the tunnel are stable and safe.

Uttarakashi Tunnel Collapse: The rescue operations for Uttarkashi Tunnel Collapse has entered day 7 but the drilling operations have been at halt. Family members of the trapped workers are extremely concerned. The under-construction tunnel between Silkyara and Dandalgaon on Brahmakhal-Yamunotri NH collapsed on November 12 trapping 40 workers. Indian Army has foiled another Pakistan’s nefarious terror bid in Jammu & Kashmir. An encounter was carried out on September 04 and one terrorist was shot dead in the operation. The rescue operations in rain-battered Shimla entered day six on August 19. Joint rescue operations are underway by NDRF, SDRF, Indian Army and local people. Incessant rains in Himachal Pradesh this week wreaked havoc as it triggered landslides across the state, blocking roads, bringing down houses, and causing damage to life and property. Teams of the State Disaster Response Force have been involved in rescue operations. The Indian Air Force also joined the operations evacuating people to safer places in the state’s Kangra district. In a tweet the Indian Air Force said it carried out over 50 sorties and rescued over 780 people. Speaking about the rescue operations Deputy Commissioner of Kangra Nipun Jindal gave information.
