Actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh became emotional after director Imtiaz Ali praised him, saying that despite his achievements, it's just the beginning for him. Imtiaz Ali stated, "Sab kehte hain aapne bohot kuch achieve kar liya hai lekin ye bas aapki shuruwat hai... Aap jaha bhi jaaoge, hum bhi aapke saath chalenge," leaving the actor emotional. Each year, cultural performances form a part of the Republic Day parade at the Kartavya path in Delhi. This year too, on the occasion of Republic Day 2024, the Republic Day parade 2024 saw a group consisting of 1500 dancers giving the message of unity in diversity. The grand performance included 30 folk dance styles uniquely prevalent in different states of the country. 120 dancers also donned masks related to various tribal and folk performing arts and 120 dancers performed dances with traditional umbrellas and other artistic objects from Gujarat, Manipur, Kerala and Maharashtra. Earlier in the ceremony, President Droupadi Murmu unfurled the National Flag at Kartavya Path.
