On the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 2550th Lord Mahavir Nirvana Mahotsav at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi and along with this he wished the countrymen on Mahavir Jayanti. The PM said that Lord Mahavir's message of peace and goodwill is an inspiration for the country in building a 'developed India'. He said that this grand building of Bharat Mandapam is today witnessing the beginning of the 2,550th Nirvana Mahotsav of Lord Mahavir. While addressing the audience there, he also cracked a joke in a very light-hearted manner. His funny political joke left the audience laughing.
