A shocking incident of child molestation has emerged from Thane. Reportedly, on a school trip on February 20th, the bus attendant molested 8-10 children who were from grade 2. Parents held protests outside school against the school administration over alleged molestation of children on a school trip. They were demanding the resignation of the teachers involved and management. We have filed an FIR against the teacher, management, principal and the criminal. On the Thane children molestation incident, a parent said, "On February 20, when kids from grade 2 were on a picnic, two outsiders also accompanied them which wasn't informed to any parents. We don't know the due diligence or the process through which they're selected for the picnic.”

On the 22nd anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack, major Parliament security breach sent shockwaves across country. While two intruders jumped in the Lok Sabha from visitors’ gallery, Neelam and Amol were detained from outside the Parliament with gas canisters. Both were detained in front of Transport Bhawan and were not carrying mobile phones or any ID. Mother of Neelam informed that the accused is “highly qualified and unemployed which was a matter of concern of her”. As per her brother, Neelam had also participated in months-long farmers' protests against now-withdrawn farm laws. Two workers who were trapped in the Silkyara Tunnel talk about their 17-day-long experience trapped in the tunnel following the Uttarkashi Tunnel Rescue. The workers had a sigh of relief after the anxiety-filled initial 24 hours. Vishwajeet Kumar Verma and Subodh Kumar Verma expressed their gratitude to the rescuers and the government as well. Rescued worker Vishwajeet Kumar Verma said, "When the debris fell, we knew that we were stuck. For the first 10-15 hours we faced difficulty. But later, a pipe was put in to provide us with rice, dal and dry fruits. Later a mic was installed and I was able to talk to my family members...I am happy now, will celebrate Diwali now." "The first 24 hours were tough but after that food was provided to us through a pipe. Subodh Kumar Verma, another rescued worker said, “I am absolutely fine and in good health now…”.

Ace Indian athlete Dutee Chand, the current national 100 m record holder, has received a four-year ban from the National Anti-Doping Agency for failing an out-of-competition doping test for Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs) in December last year. Reacting to it, Indian sprinter Dutee Chand on August 19 appealed the state government, Central Government and NADA to spare her this time. She further added that she has given several doping tests earlier where she was never detected positive.

Just a few days back, a shocking video surfaced from the Indian state of Manipur that showed dozens of men parading and assaulting two women who had been stripped naked. The incident happened on May 4th. The main culprit in Manipur’s viral video who was wearing a green t-shirt and seen holding the woman has been arrested in an operation after proper identification. His name is Huirem Herodas Meitei (32 years) of Pechi Awang Leikai, according to government sources.
