PM Narendra Modi came down heavily against Congress for giving away Katchatheevu island to Sri Lanka in 1974. PM accused the Congress and former PM Indira Gandhi of weakening India’s unity, integrity and interests. PM took to X and wrote that Congress “callously” gave away the island of Katchatheevu to Sri Lanka.
