A 70-year-old man, who was crossing the railway tracks, was saved in the nick of time, thanks to the alert rail staff at Kalyan station. An employee working on tracks shouted to alert train drivers, who immediately applied brakes and the man was saved.

Gurukul students allege sodomy by seniors, staffers

In a shocking incident, six students of a gurukul located in Ladhot village of Haryana’s Rohtak have alleged that they had been sodomised by their senior students and some staffers. The matter came into light when the parents of some students visited the Gurukul to meet their children on Raksha Bandhan festival. The students told their parents that they are being sodomised for a year and were beaten up and threatened with dire consequences if they disclosed the matter. After hearing the horrific tales narrated by their children, parents lodged a complaint at Sadar police station. A case has been lodged and police are investigating the matter.
