He also accused the Left government of hindering Centre's development programmes in the southern state and alleged that the Left front will ruin Kerala like it did in other states where it was in power in the past. Modi also attacked the CPI(M)-led government in the state by referring to the Karuvannur Cooperative bank scam and accusing the Left party of looting money belonging to the poor. He also attacked the Congress by alleging that it created a weak image of India in the world, while the BJP had built the country into a strong nation.

Actor-turned-politician, BJP candidate Kangana Ranaut offered prayers at revered deity Baba Bhootnath temple of Mandi, on April 01. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate Sudarshan Setu to the nation which will connect Okha mainland to Beyt Dwarka island. It is built at a cost of around Rs 980 crores. It is the longest Cable-stayed bridge in the country of around 2.32 km. Sudarshan Setu boasts a unique design, featuring a footpath adorned with verses from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and images of Bhagwan Krishna on both sides. It also has solar panels installed on the upper portions of the footpath, generating one megawatt of electricity. This bridge will ease the transportation and significantly reduce the time of devotees travelling between Dwarka and Beyt-Dwarka. Before the bridge’s construction, pilgrims had to rely on boat transport to reach Beyt Dwarka. This iconic bridge will also serve as a major tourist attraction of Devbhumi Dwarka.
