Himachal Pradesh's Congress senior leader Vikramaditya Singh has resigned as minister, amid the political turmoil going on in the state. He is the son of former Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Virbhadra Singh. “Someone who was the CM of the state for 6 times, due to whom this Government was formed in the state - they could not find a small space for his statue at Mall Road. This is the respect this Government has shown to my late father. We are emotional people, we have nothing to do with posts...But this is very unfortunate...I am very hurt, not politically but emotionally" said the minister.

PM Modi is currently on his two day visit to Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Maharastra. On 27th of February, Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) which is situated in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He was accompanied by Indian Space Research Organisation Chairman S Somanath. The visit includes inaugurating key space facilities, reviewing the Gaganyaan Mission, and launching initiatives to support MSMEs in the automotive sector. Chandrayaan-3, India’s ambitious lunar mission slept forever as Moon goes dark again. Scientists are hoping that they would be able to revive Vikram Lander, Pragyan Rover with the rise of the Sun on Sept 23 at the South Pole. However, after several attempts of trying to wake up them up, there was no response from Chandrayaan-3. Although, Scientists have not lost hope of the revival of Chandrayaan-3. Astronomer and Professor Dr RC Kapoor said that there is still 1 pc chance of lander and rover’s revival. However, the lander and rover have done their best and provided sufficient data to the ISRO. Both the lander and the rover were put into sleep mode on September 4 and 2 respectively. After a 40-day journey into space, Chandrayaan-3 made a ‘historic’ landing on August 23 at lunar South Pole making India the first country to do so.

According to Admiral R Hari Kumar, “We actually are moving a case for the follow on of this Vikrant. Primarily, the Navy envisages three operational carriers. So, over a period of time in building Vikrant, considerable expertise and skill have been developed in the coaching shipyard. Building an aircraft carrier is not a small thing. Therefore, we have moved a case for the third aircraft carrier. It is a repeat order of Vikrant.”

Indian High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami was stopped from entering a Gurdwara in Glasgow, Scotland. After this Glasgow Gurdwara incident, the Indian authorities raised this issue with the UK Foreign Office and the police. Recently, the Indian High Commissioner to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami was prevented from entering a Gurudwara in Glasgow, Scotland. This comes amid a diplomatic row between India and Canada over the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. A video of the incident has been doing rounds on the internet, where a man can be seen blocking Doraiswami from entering the Gurudwara. Colin Bloom, former advisor to UK government, said that the Khalistan extremism has escalated due to the inability of Western governments to do enough. Bloom stressed that both the British and Canadian governments should take more proactive measures to address this issue. India has flagged the issue with the UK Foreign Office and also the police, according to sources.
