Today on 19th April, the first phase of voting for the Lok Sabha election 2024 kicked off. Home voting in Rajasthan for the first phase of Lok Sabha election 2024 starts

The Home Voting for first phase of Lok Sabha election began in Rajasthan on April 5. The home voting facility announced by Election Commission of India has been extended to senior citizens above 85 years of age and voters with over 40 percent disability. In Jaipur Lok Sabha constituency, a total of 3,632 eligible voters, including 3,134 voters above 85 years of age and 498 voters with more than 40 percent disability, have applied for home voting facility. In Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha constituency, a total of 3, 971 eligible voters, including 3,130 voters above 85 years of age and 841 voters with more than 40 percent disability, have applied for home voting facility. In the first phase home voting facility will be provided till April 13 from morning 7 AM to 6 PM. Under the second phase home voting facility will be provided for absentee voters on 15th April and 16th April. Special polling teams have been assigned for Home voting facility. Each polling team includes two polling officers, one micro observer, one policeman and one videographer.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai cast his vote in the Assembly election on Wednesday at Shiggaon in Haveri district.
