Will Bhajji toe the line today?
By: Anand I Naik

DELHI:

As a buoyant and confident India prepare to seal the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia today, chances are that they might have to do it without Harbhajan Singh.

The off-spinner has a sore right big toe and has hardly bowled during practice sessions in the last two days. Bhajji has dismissed Ricky Ponting often enough to have a psychological advantage over the Aussie skipper.

"He is still not sure. We just want to wait and see. Depending on his fitness, we will take a call tomorrow. He still has a little bit of discomfort.

"He is a key member for us and we are hoping that he will be fit by tomorrow morning," captain Anil Kumble said.

In case Bhajji is not fit, Amit Mishra, who picked up seven wickets in India's 320-run win in Mohali, will replace him.
