Pakistan beat New Zealand by seven runs in the second Twenty international at Dubai Stadium yesterday to take the two-match series 2-0.
Pakistan put 153 on the board thanks mainly to Umar Akmal's 49-ball 56. Ian Butler was the pick of he Kiwi bowlers returning figures of 3-28.
In reply, New Zealand kept losing wicket at regular intervals with only skipper Brendon McCullum (47) and Scott Styris (41) getting runs. They ended their 20 overs at 146 for 5. |
