Halappa lauds Delhi HC ruling on WSH |

Indian hockey ace Arjun Halappa lauded the Delhi High Court's verdict that protects national players' right to take part in the World Series of Hockey (Feb 29 - April 02).
"This is the much needed protection the Indian hockey players needed. There is no doubt that WSH will strengthen hockey in our country," said the Karnataka Lions skipper.
Olympian Joaquim Carvalho, whose PIL lead to the judgement, said: "Players can now take part in the Olympic qualifiers in a peaceful state of mind." |
