Indian fans shouted slogans at Chepauk on Saturday in protest of ICC's Umpire of the Year Kumar Dharmasena for not giving Michael Clarke out despite a clear inside edge on Day One.

Dharmasena turned down a vociferous appeal when Clarke nicked one on to his leg which Cheteshwar Pujara held on to at forward short-leg when on 39. The Australian skipper went on to make 130.
Police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse the protesting fans while some were taken to the police station.
