Bishan Bedi, Mushtaq Mohammad go on a culinary sojourn in Old Delhi
Former India cricketer and legendary off-spinner Bishan Singh Bedi today took his close friend and former Pakistani all-rounder Mushtaq Mohammad through the streets of Old Delhi visiting some historic places.
Former India captain Bishan Singh Bedi on Tuesday took his close friend and ex-Pakistan all-rounder Mushtaq Mohammad on a guided tour of Old Delhi during which the two "true fans of Ghalib" gorged on the mouthwatering dishes at Karim's.
"Grt experience-visited MGhalib (Mirza Ghalib) haveli with Mushtq Mohamd aftr lunch at Karim's-'twas Ziarat of sorts & dream come true fr two fans of Glib," Bedi tweeted later.
Bedi took Mushtaq through the streets of Old Delhi visiting some historic places. "We went to Balli Maran in cycle-rickshaw in crowded Chandni Chowk-what a joyous experience-Mushy went berserk with camera-lovly excitment!!" he posted.
Bedi and his former Northamptonshire teammate also visited famous Urdu poet Ghalib's haveli and popular Mughal cuisine eatery Karim's in the walled city in Delhi.
"We wanted to visit Mirza Ghalib's haveli. It was nice and a lovely outing to push and jostle around in the streets of Old Delhi. It was great fun taking my former captain 'Mushy' out for a fun ride," Bedi said.
