It is a well-known fact that Tendulkar’s bat is carefully designed with a lot of inputs from the batting maestro. Everything about his bat has to be spot on — the curve, shape and weight. He had once admitted: “I can get very fussy about the bat. For me, everything about the bat should be right and to my liking.”

Bats are also his obsession as he has a room full of them.
Yesterday, he was spot-on when he noticed that one side of the bat’s shoulder was slightly higher than the other. A prominent bat manufacturer from Marine Lines, was called in to set things right.
