Mumbai opener Wasim Jaffer has pulled out of the West Zone team for the Deodhar Trophy due to family commitments

The inter-zonal one-day tournament is scheduled to be played in Guwahati from March 10-13. “There are some rituals to be conducted as it is 40 days since my father passed away. So, I won’t be available,” Jaffer told MiD DAY.
West Zone have been given a direct berth into the semis on March 12 where they meet the winners of the March 10 quarter-final between South and East. The final is on March 13.
