Malala is a golden child, whom every parent loves to have as an offspring. Such a bravery to face fundamentalists at a tender age of 14 is worth honoring. Of course, people like SSR Shankr, who hobnobs with the Indian version of Taliban naturally gets peeved that this child has faced up to his ilk in Pakistan.
