Indulgence at Koregaon Park | Indulgence:
The shop is run by Mazo Hopell, who has been supplying cakes and pastries to restaurants and parties, for the last 14 years. As you walk in, you will be surprised to find very few cakes and pastries displayed. "I have limited cakes here because each one is home-made and it's not possible for me to make large quantities," explains Hopell.
The minute you sample the cakes, you know the reason for her popularity they are absolutely yummy. It's advisable to drop in the morning or order by phone, because by evening, everything is sold out.
The prices do seem a tad high, but Hopell justifies it by saying that her products have been prepared with the best ingredients.
Their specialty: Double Chocolate Mousse Cake, Lemon and Peach Cheese Cake, Apple Strudel, Cheese Strudel, Trouts, Mousse Cakes, Cheese Cakes and Brownies.
Prices: Pastries are available from Rs 60 per piece, cakes start from Rs 215 per pound and bakery products are priced at Rs 40 onwards for 250 gm.

Ratabi on FC Road | Ratabi:
The sweets and snacks joint at FC Road has everything a true-blue Bengali will crave for. The moment you walk in, you can feast your eyes on row after row of delicious sweets. They also offer pickles, snacks and Maharashtrian sweets. Owner Soumit Roy says, "The workers are especially hired from Kolkata so that each product has an authentic taste."
The pickles and snacks are very over-priced, though. It's best to drop in the morning, so that you get fresh pieces.
Their specialty: Ratabi serves Rasgulla, Chamcham, Kheerkadam, Sandesh, Malai Sandwich, Malai Chop, Ras Malai, Rabri, Rasmadhuri, Ladoos and Pedas.
Prices: Sandesh costs Rs 6 per piece, sweets cost Rs 15 per piece, snacks cost Rs 24 per 200 gm and pickles cost Rs 85 to Rs 90 per 500 gm.

Nila Mehta on East Street | Nila Mehta:
In the busy lanes of East Street, is a store called Nila Mehta. The store is already famous in Mumbai, and this is their first outlet in the city. Nila Mehta offers various kinds of snacks and sweets (including sugar-free sweets), though it's more famous for its Bhel. Manager Arvinz says, "The products displayed are specially made in Mumbai, but we ensure that they are very fresh." All the items are neatly displayed and look appetising.
Their specialty: They offer a variety of snacks like Chakli, Kachori, Corn Chura, Nasta Sev, Sev Puri, Bhel, Papri, Ganthia, Bhakarbadi, chocolates and various kind of bakery biscuits. The sweets available are Coconut Ladoo, sugar-free sweets including Gulkhand, Anjir, Bajri Badi and soya sticks.
Prices: Snacks are priced at Rs 30 onwards for 250 gms and sweets are available for Rs 100 onwards for 500 gm.
