Believe it or not, an art show in town is all set to teach you how to slip on that pinkie right, apart from other things
Delhi's just reinvented the term 'quirky art'. Take a look at its new definition at the Art and Design Show, which puts up edgy artworks in limited editions. The creations make use of diverse media and materials like stone, glass and fibre optics among others. A peep.

The exhibition includes a wide variety of paintings and installations by varied artists. Aditya Pande, whose work is called 'Divine Pest', gives us an insight into his world. "I have used a simple graphic. The idea is to show how different situations produce different results, like my piece resembles a dancing goddess when placed vertically and when placed horizontally, it resembles a crawling insects. The idea is to show opposites as well."
Care-ful
The do also raises its voice on some of the major concerns of the country. Thukral and Tagra, two participants who have been working on a research project for the last two years, showcase their work 'Put It On'. "Our installation is based on the issue of AIDS. It shows flip-flops that display instructions on the correct way to put a condom," says Thukral.
