Photographer and filmmaker Chetan Raghuram is all of nineteen and already has a short film called Rebello in his kitty that's been screened at film festivals around the world. He was invited to the Czech Republic recently for a screening of his film. But what captured Chetan's imagination on his way back from there was his three day stop over at Paris which he shot through his camera. These photographs became the subject of his show Paris Mon Amour. The show captures Paris and its various moods. Chetan has trained under the city-based German photographer Hellmuth Conz.

Multilingual musician and rapper Suresh Peters will be in town this weekend with his brand of Pettai Rap or Chennai-style Tamil dialect written in the form of a rap. Known for his popular songs like Urvashi and Pettai Rap from the Prabhu Deva starrer Kadhalan and Chikku Bhukku Rayile, Peters will be jamming with Alwyn Fernandes on the guitars, Aman Mahajan on the keyboards, Rhzude David on bass guitar and Joe Panicker on the drums.

Performed and produced by We Move Theatre, a city-based theatre group, Namma Metro revolves around four characters: a 60 year-old man, a software engineer, a middle-aged clerk and groundnut seller. The play looks at the ever changing city of Bengaluru through the eyes of these four characters. |
