Almonds and honey cure blemishes
Dear Blossom,
I have an 8 month-old baby. Her limbs are darker than her face. Is this a serious condition? Also, please suggest a home remedy for my hair loss problem.
reena_nair18@yahoo.com
Do not use any products on your baby, since her skin is still sensitive. If the problem persists after a few years, consult a dermatologist.
For your hair fall, powder 10 gms of lime seeds and black pepper. Make a fine paste with water or ginger juice. Massage this paste into your scalp every night. Leave it on for three hours and rinse.

Stint as an Assistant Director
Varun Badola,
television actor
In 1995, I was working as a costume designer for Tigmanshu Dhulias television serial, Naya Daur.
An assistant director quit all of a sudden, and I was pushed into the direction team. Tigmanshu was surprised and impressed with my ability to direct.
There was a time when he was so busy with the script of Dil Se, that I actually directed a few episodes on my own. I also unofficially assisted Tigmanshu on his feature films, Charas and Haasil. However, I got tired of being behind the camera, and finally shifted my focus to acting.

Shirley, when will I be successful?
Dear Shirley,
Dear Shirley,
My life has been a mess for the past two years, but I have finally decided to take control of it and change for the better. I plan to work in a call centre after my board exams. Is this the right job for me? Will I be able to find love?
Name: SL
Date of birth: February 10, 1988
Dear SL,
It is a positive sign that you want to take responsibility and change for the better. This maturity will help you achieve success. Your positive period begins from July 2006 onwards. Look for a job in the finance or the service industry (the call centre job falls in the second category). However, you must pursue higher studies as well. You will meet a new friend and the choice to take the relationship beyond a platonic level will be entirely upto you. Wish you success and happiness. God bless.
Dear Shirley,
My daughter is not academically inclined. Will she pass her tenth standard board exams with a good percentage? What career should she opt for in the future?
Her details:
Name: Riddhi
Date of birth: January 19, 1990
Dear Mansi,
Your daughter should sit in the North East corner of the house, facing the North or the East when she studies. This will help her to retain information better. She must eat a balanced diet, exercise and have leisure time too. Do not compare her with fellow students.
Be supportive and concentrate on her positive qualities. Dont let her think that her self worth and your love for her depend on what percentage she gets.
Acupressure, neurotherapy, teaching and catering are good career options for her. Good luck to your daughter, and God bless.
