The super smart integration on these earbuds has been designed to assist users during meetings, classes, and calls by capturing conversations in the background, allowing them to focus on the discussion instead of manually taking notes.

One-button recording

One of the standout features of these earbuds is its One-button receiving feature. The POVA AI Buds Pro comes with a dedicated button on the charging case that allows users to start recording instantly without opening a smartphone or launching an app. While briefing about this feature, POVA said that these earbuds have been intended for situations such as back-to-back meetings, classes, and client calls.

The earbuds can also process recorded conversations to generate concise summaries, action items, and full transcripts, giving users a structured overview of discussions after they end.

Real-time translation across 12 Indian languages

Another key feature of the POVA AI Buds Pro is real-time translation. The earbuds support translation across 12 Indian languages, allowing users to communicate with vendors, clients, and others without having to rely on a separate translation app or type messages on a phone.

Speaking about the launch, Arijeet Talapatra, CEO, TECNO Mobile India, said the company's focus was on making AI useful in everyday situations without requiring users to interrupt what they are doing.
"We took an everyday essential, earbuds, and turned them into a smarter companion to help you capture conversations, recall key details, and stay on top of your day effortlessly. It’s not about adding more tech to your life; it’s about making the tech you already carry work a little harder for you,” Talapatra added.

POVA AI Buds Pro price and availability in India

The POVA AI Buds Pro will go on sale in India from August 22 at a price of Rs 14,999.
As per POVA, as part of the launch offer, buyers can get the earbuds at an effective price of Rs 12,499, including applicable bank offers on the sale day.

Google, while launching their latest smartphone range, said that all four phones that have been launched are powered by Google's new Tensor G6 chipset and feature IP68-rated protection, enhanced Gemini AI capabilities, and upgraded 5x telephoto cameras.

Design

Highlighting about the design, Google said that they haven’t made much; it didn't change drastically compared to the Pixel 10. They also added that the new series of smartphones now comes in a few new colors:

• Lilac-like frost
• Hibiscus pink
• Pistachio green 
• Obsidian black

Battery

While hailing about the power-packed battery, Google said the latest smartphone series now offers a powerful battery pack that lasts over 30 hours and supports 25 percent faster wireless charging than the Pixel 10.

Camera 

The Pixel 11 also gets a significant camera upgrade, along with a redesigned camera bump that's more than 40 percent thinner than the one on the Pixel 10. On the back, it features a 48MP wide camera, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto camera.

On the front the Google Pixel 11 comes with a 10.5MP selfie camera that offers a 48MP main sensor and offers 56 percent greater light sensitivity, while the 5x telephoto camera can deliver up to 30x Super Zoom.

Announcing the new smartphone, which is said to be launched on August 20, Google's has included a new feature in the camera bar called HiLight. The smartphone now comes with an LED indicator light for things like Gemini interactions and incoming calls from favorite contacts. 

Google says that the little LED will get more capabilities down the line, like signaling message notifications from frequent contacts.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold

Talking about their flagship device, which is the Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold, they said that the 11 Pro Fold features the thinnest bezels ever on a Fold and claims it's three times as durable as the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, with IP68 water and dust resistance and a back material that's "designed to be nearly impossible to crack."

The Fold's displays are 20 percent brighter than last year's model, and the inner display goes up to 3,600 nits of brightness, like the Pixel 11 Pro / Pro XL. It also runs on Google's Tensor G6 chip and offers up to 24 hours of battery life. 

Whereas the camera on the 11 Pro Fold includes a new 48MP wide lens plus a 10.5MP ultrawide lens and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with up to 30x super zoom.

Joining the competition, Snapchat (Snap Inc.) has unveiled the all-new ‘SPECS’, a new pair of standalone AR glasses designed to let users access navigation, entertainment, productivity tools and contextual AI without reaching for a smartphone, marking the company's latest step into the future of wearable computing.

Speaking about the smart sunglasses, Evan Spiegel, founder of Snapchat (Snap Inc.), said, “For decades, computers have asked us to look down, sit still, or step out of the moment. SPECS brings computing into the world around us where we live, work, learn, create, and connect.”

Eliminating the need for having your smartphone

These smart sunglasses from Snapchat have been designed in a way that they stand as one of the best AR glasses across the market. 

Using these sunglasses helps you eliminate the need for a smartphone connection or an external computing pack. The device combines augmented reality, artificial intelligence and spatial computing features, allowing users to access navigation, digital workspaces, entertainment and interactive applications through transparent lenses.

Design 

The glasses weigh between 132 and 136 grams, depending on the size, and support prescription lens inserts. Snapchat said that the display system of these smart sunglasses offers a 51-degree field of view and can project digital content comparable to a large desktop monitor or home theatre screen.

Performance

The hardware is powered by two Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, one dedicated to computer vision tasks and another for running AR applications. The brand further claims that the setup enables responsive hand tracking and low-latency interactions between the physical and digital worlds.

Design 

The moment you hold the phone, it feels premium. The POVA 8 5G immediately grabs attention with its futuristic design. However, it is the rear panel that truly sets the smartphone apart. 

What appears to be a triple-camera setup comes with a clever twist. While two of the circular modules house camera sensors, the third ring at the bottom is not a camera. Instead, it is an interactive LED display that adds a unique visual element to the device.

While the display may initially appear slightly pale, it offers a crisp 1080x2344-pixel resolution and a pixel density of 381 PPI, delivering sharp visuals during everyday use. If you are a frequent social media user, the 144Hz refresh rate ensures smooth animations and fluid scrolling.

Pushing the limits with POVA 8 5G

While many smartphones in this price segment are limited to basic multitasking and moderate gaming, the POVA 8 5G proves to be a notable exception. Every day, multitasking, gaming and content consumption felt smooth, thanks to the 14,689 mm² cooling system, which helps manage heat during extended gaming sessions.

Without diving too deeply into technical details, popular titles such as Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Counter-Strike run smoothly on the device. Camera

Deepinder Goyal posted a short teaser on Instagram with the caption “Getting there,” giving users a glimpse of the small wearable gadget, reported by IANS. 

The device has sparked curiosity ever since Goyal was seen wearing a tiny golden sensor on the right side of his forehead. While many users wondered what it was, the Zomato CEO explained its purpose in an earlier LinkedIn post.

Goyal, while briefing about the latest smart wearable, said that “Temple is an ‘experimental device’ designed to measure brain blood flow accurately, in real time, and on a continuous basis,” as per IANS.

The Zomato CEO further said the device was created while he was researching his recently discussed ‘Gravity Ageing Hypothesis’.

Last month, Deepinder Goyal also shared a series of posts outlining this “scientific yet unconventional” idea. He further suggested that gravity could directly affect how humans age and how this device can be a revolution in the smart wearable segment. 

While talking about ‘Temple’, Deepinder shared the theory not as a CEO but as someone curious enough to follow a strange scientific path.

He noted that while Newton defined gravity and Einstein described how it bends spacetime, he believes gravity may also shorten human lifespan.

Goyal said that he is studying connections between three factors:

How standing upright slightly reduces blood flow to the brain, how sensitive certain brain regions like the hypothalamus and brainstem are to small changes in circulation, and how these regions control the ageing process.

According to Deepinder Goyal, these links could open a new understanding of how ageing works.

Deepinder Goyal revealed that, “I have been using the Temple device for a year and feel it has the potential to become an important global health tool,” as cited by news agency IANS. 

Goyal further pointed out that brain blood flow is already considered a key biomarker for ageing, longevity and cognitive health.

He also added that, “Because of that, I believe Temple remains useful even if his gravity-based ageing theory proves incorrect,” as per IANS.

Goyal, while denying intentions of promoting the device, said that, “Addressing speculation that the hypothesis was simply a strategy to promote the device.”

He added, “Temple would be a ‘small, cute company’ compared to Eternal,” and made it clear that he would never risk customers’ trust for marketing.
